Purple Oatmeal!!

The more colorful, the better I like it! And how can you say ‘no’ to purple oatmeal?!

Yesterday I was running a bit late so I was throwing stuff together and pictured here is the results!

It was fantastic. Including the steamed potato.

One thing I have found to be so true in my expierence, is that once I allowed my tongue to exist without a huge volume of salt and sugar, my ability to taste the flavor of real foods was off the charts!

I add No Salt, No Oil, No Sugar to anything I eat now. Not even olive nor coconut oil…. not even pink hocus pocus mountain salt…nope, none, zilch, zip, nada….

One day, a long time ago, while I worked for the local Grocery store I found a broken container of Old Fashioned Oats. I grabbed a handful, and tossed it in my mouth. After the dry went away, I found the flavor was enjoyable, and since then, just ‘out of the container’ Old Fashion Oats’ has been my preferred method of consuming Oats.

Early in my journey away from the Sad American Death Diet, I would used Old Fashion Oats like croutons on my Salads. Also at that time I would pile on the beans and tell myself those were my meat replacement.

I was one of those guys who demanded dead animal muscle material, or organs at every meal…. Or it wasn’t a meal….

After my heart attack and deeper research about the effect of animal protein on the human body, I was glad Old Fashion Oats and beans were so high on my list of prefered foods.

They were Cheap! And you could grab these food items at the local under a dollar store for just a few dollars.

I have no problem for those who spend the extra money for all organic. More power to you, and that industry!

But folks hear about my ‘weird’ way of eating and the first thought they have is that I eat all organic stuffs. Then they tell themselves that they cannot, could not or would not afford to eat like that…

You don’t have to go ‘organic’… wear sandals … Stop using proper body hygiene and go total ‘hippy’…

To eat healthy, just stop doing the dollar menu at the fast food window of government subsidized fast food drive thru …

Keep it simple.

Discount Store beans, rice, garnished with ‘
Croutons of the Rolling Fields’…(Old Fashion Oat Meal)….

Oh yeah, the reason the Oats in the picture are ‘purple’, is due to the blue berries I poured from the sack I bought at Aldi grocery….you know, that store where you buy from the cases, provide your own sacks, and …. it is one of those ‘cheap priced’ places….

My favorite kinda place!

Remember, in all of this…. No Calories were counted, No Protein was measured, NO CARBS WERE FEARED!

… And keep that food pretty! In a Whole Food kinda way, of course!

Later dudes…
