I started using Hearing Aids sometime in 2013. The Doctor said I had suddenly lost about 95% of the hearing in my right ear. Personally, I think it was a ‘alarm’ of the Heart Attack coming October 2015, but no Doctor has given any consideration to what I think …. I mean, after all, I’m a non-diploma citizen … so, ‘shut up! WE will do the thinking for you….take this medicine!’
But even with the ‘best’ Hearing Aids, losing your hearing changes your life in so many ways…. most which are not positive.
I started running about August 2017, and have enjoyed this new found activity since. Almost every time I run, I am listening to books, podcasts, and sometimes my enormous playlist of some really strange songs. I have used a blue tooth earbud set up, that has served me very well through MUCH SWEAT, COLD WEATHER, and a few THUNDER/LIGHTENING STORMS that scared the CRAP outta me.
They have a limited volume and tone adjustment, but are durable, and have lasted this entire time of my running activities.
However, for the last three runs in July 2021, I have just left the new Hearing Aids in, and listened to the books and such. The big difference by using the Hearing Aids, is that I am hearing things during the run, I have never heard before … like, the water jostling in my full water bottle.
There is also the Birds singing, chirping, and greeting the sunrise. (Actually screaming threats to the other birds invading their territory, and trying to ‘charm’ potential ‘mates’)
I can hear the wind blowing through the trees, and cars as they approach.
And the Dogs barking.
But it is very clear, I have run most of these 1445 days, not hearing most of the sounds around me. Some are nice to hear, and overall it could be considered safer, although the water bottle sound is very distracting.
I can say it is a good thing to hear what is going on around you since several things are more pleasant, more secure, and more aware. I mean, really, when the neighborhood women try to chase me down, at least now, I get a better head start.
This morning, I started listening to the book BAD PHARMA: How Drug Companies Mislead Doctors and Harm Patients by Ben Goldacre.
This is not a new discovery, nor subject for me. I have been voicing this theme since October 2015, just days after my By Pass, and I began the study of the Drug Industry, and their Minions, the Doctors in general.
Please do understand, I am grateful for advances in these fields, but angry about the abuses too. Blind trust gives more room for abuses.
‘God Like’ Status for someone wearing a White Lab Coat and wearing a Stethoscope around their neck just might not be a trust worthy fountain of information or treatment. I am actually searching for a inexpensive Doctors Degree I can get for under $50 via the internet… along with the White Lab Coat and Stethoscope.
I am sure a selfie in such an outfit will give an instant creditability to my opinions, rants, and published blogs, while silencing my critics and the naysayers at the same time.
And all this brings me to this final point.
If the world is trusting the ‘narrative’ of all ‘THE SCIENCE’ during these months since January 2020, you need to upgrade your ‘Hearing Aids’ because there are a lot of things going on that you have not been able ‘to hear’.
We have been corralled into a position of hearing only what the OVERLORDS have wanted the World to Hear… and it is not the Truth.
The Science has deceived, lied to, tricked, changed the story, and blinded the World. Treatments have been hidden, and have cost Millions of lives, and cost untold amounts in the economies of entire countries, and families.
The Crime of All Centuries has occurred, and few have heard the cries.
We need to hear the Truth of their destructions, and begin to say NO!
Being Deaf Sucks.
Staying Deaf is unforgivable.
We need to hear the birds chirping, and what is really being said.
