I receive the email telling me Amazon is now in the Pharmacy business.
Ok, I’m not a fan of taking pills, and I don’t feel comfortable with Amazon being my Pharmacist.
It is already known that every thing you say near your smart phone, or smart TV is heard, and a ad is customized and sent for your viewing. For years many have noticed how they can have a conversation in their Living Room, and in the next few seconds, ads start to appear offering that very item for sale.
I guess now you can voice how you are depressed over something, and an ad for antidepressants will appear.
Also, I disagree with the advertising in the email…
MEDICATION DOES NOT PROVIDE HEALTH. ALSO, staying 6 feet from people does not provide HEALTH .
Our World has a strange idea what provides ‘HEALTH’, and for sure pharma, and social distancing does not make anything healthy.
The 2nd and 3rd types of drugs offered in Amazon’s Ad ( after High Blood Pressure ) are obviously mental, emotional issues. Again, this is not what keeps people HEALTHY.
So now, AMAZON knows everything you think about buying, and also have all your Medical Information.
There is so much wrong with all this.
And one other bit of information ….
In late 2018, Amazon bought 20,000 of those blue delivery vans you see every where now. I guess they were getting ready for the LOCKDOWN, and the biggest profit ever from sales in 2020. It appears to me, that they knew there would be a lockdown.
But, that, along with what does and does not promote Health, is just my opinion.
Maybe I need to change the web site to something like ‘crazyoldmanskinandbones’
