Quotes and a Test of My 1st YouTube Video

Ok, I have to say this blog today is the culmination of several things I have been wanting to do since April 1. 2018.

That was the day I took my first 5 mile run and decided that was some of the most fun I have ever had.

I also decided at the last moment, I would record a shout out to my Brothers in the Missing Chins Run Club through a video.

(I had been thinking about a meme I had seen of Oscar the Grouch living in a Trash Can, not a Trash Can’t ….)

I had also seen the completion of my listening to Scott Jurek’s book ”Eat and Run”.

To say I was inspired would be an understatement.

So, I made this video as I went over the 5 mile distance, while running circles in the street, in front of the house till the FitBit registered the 5 miles.  The following is my first YouTube video ….

My first YouTube Video

The problem I had was the video turned into almost a minute and a half and that size created a problem on so many ways.

Several folks had been telling me to start a YouTube channel, so I did that while the Yard did not get mowed, NOR DID Bettys Mustang get washed.

(Maybe she will not notice ….)

Trial and error best describe the beginning of My YouTube Channel, as well as MUCH REMAINS to learn…

So far, there is one video.  After several questions are answered, there will be more.  Many in the kitchen I am sure…

Now for the Quotes part…

I have learned to respect, admire, and enjoy Scott Jurek from reading his book “Eat and Run”.

Perhaps the quote I like the best is actually from Scott’s Dad…

“Sometimes you just do things!”

There are several quotes you can find here at Goodreads Quotes

Now I am going to post a link for a selfish reason.  When I get ready to look at this again, I can remember this is where I can find the location….

So, this Blog has been a success.

Nothing really earth shattering or ground breaking, but it is done.

I can’t believe I am so exciting about running.

But one thing, or two for certain… I have not been at this body weight since Jr High.  That was back in the early 60’s.

And, I have never been in this physical condition… ever.

I have even had the strange excitement thinking about going for the yearly checkup and see what the blood work shows …

Now for ME to even think things like that is …. way out there!

I own all this to the WFPB lifestyle, never counting calories, never measuring protein, never fearing carbs.
